Josie Garcia is a first generation Cuban American born and raised in Miami,Fl with pencil in hand. Inspired by his first childhood memory of watching the first lunar landing on t.v, at that moment his imagination was launched.
He is fascinated by the simple yet powerful statement that only black and white images express, creating drawings with pencil, charcoal, and ink as well as producing illustrated videos of his drawings that seem to bring his creations to life.
With every new creation he strives to re-create that fascinating and otherworldly moment from his childhood memory for everyone to experience.
